Meet the Bishop Bees Family
We are Allen and Denise Bishop. Our passion for beekeeping began in 2018 as a hobby for military retirement and continues to grow. We have grown to 3 apiary sites and are proud to be a part of the master beekeeper program in Tennessee. We love to share our passion with others in mentoring up-and-coming beekeepers through lessons learned.
Our Products
Bishop Bees offers honey, and beeswax products from our apiaries in beautiful Milligan and Watauga Tennessee, and Johnson City, TN. We offer lip balm made with beeswax, organic coconut oil and sweet almond oil. Are you a seamstress and need wax to assist? Do you make your own soap? We are able to package wax different sizes. If your into blacksmithing the wax is a great rust protectant coating. If you are looking for honey for a wedding reach out- they make great guest gifts. Coming soon is a hot honey.
Our Commitment to Sustainability
At Bishop Bee Farm, sustainability is key to our industry's success. We are committed to providing our customers with environmentally friendly and local to Tri-cities honey and beeswax products. We plant crops such as figwort and buckwheat to assist in natural food for our bees. Bishop bees allow natural growth in the pastures for true wildflower availability.

We now have hot honey for your sweet and spicy tastes. Goes great on pork, chicken or on some homemade biscuits. We will be at the Johnson city farmers market starting May 10th and to come Elizabethton and Erwin farmers markets
